IDEAS TO THINK ABOUT:
- The idea may need another narrative strand. Perhaps I could include an insight into the girl's parents' unhappy relationship and her realisation of becoming like them in her own relationship.
- This additional strand could be shown in flashbacks. These flashbacks could be signified by an added sepia tone giving a vintage feel to the shots due to the events happening a generation ago.
PROBLEMS:
- The theatre setting may be problematic due to the time allowance of the shoot day being only one day therefore we would not have time to find a suitable location as well as travel there and back to school in order to shoot the entirety of the video.
WIDER LINKS:
- The films 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner' and 'American Beauty' dinner scene both showing an element of dysfunction in the parents' relationship.
