We are planning on using Dillon as he is a drummer, therefore will be able to play the part of the drummer boy in our video with ease. We wanted to make sure that we have males to appeal to a female audience, as he is attractive. We also wanted to communicate that it is being filmed in London and London has a diverse cosmopolitan population.

Role: Sunbather

Philippa is a dancer, and therefore has the perfect body for a bikini. She is also very agile and angelic so when she moves people will recognise she is a dancer. Philippa is a pretty girl so will attract to the male audience. She is also an actress so will be at ease and will be able to improvise what to do if the scene changes on the day. 

Name: Jemma Warburton

Role: Gardener

We decided to use Jemma as she is a budding actress and is at great ease in front of the camera. We also wanted to appeal to the boys as Jemma is very attractive and will attract the male audience, similar to Philippa, ranging from all ages up to 20s. We also want to get our target audience from the 'united colours of Benetton' and convey the sense that this artist should appeal to everyone, creating an urban appeal, and trying to make her as street as possible. By grounding her from London we should attract all ethnic minorities.

Age: 17

Academic Year: A2

Role: Washer

Bo was chosen for our music video as she relates to the 'Girl next door' image that we want people to be able to relate to. Bo is also an actress so will be competent in front of the camera. She is also a very likable person in front and behind the camera so the audience will immediately recognise her personality throughout her scenes and warm to her. We are going for the 60's look and we feel that this will come across similar to Beyoncé below.
