Music Video Influences

Ariana Grande's 'Put Your Hearts Up' is quite similar to our music video. In this video the pink dress and purple/blue backing dancers contrast with the bleak background of the city. In our music video this will be highlighting the vitality of Rosie's personality and how her music spreads joy and happiness. Using this colour scheme will also help to collect a target audience because the 'trendy's' and 'girly' teenagers will be attracted to the beautiful dresses and bright colours.

At the beginning of this music video we see she is in the urban setting of 'New York' which is similar to our urban back drop we will use. This shows the genre of Rosie's music as it connotes her '60's' meets 'city girl'. The theme of 'spreading the love' that is heavily prominent in the music video is also a key theme in our video as we too will have little short scenes of people coming together due to her music and generally making the world a happier place.

Rosie's target audience of 'trendies' and teens would be drawn to this video as Ariana is a stylish pretty girl, which is very similar to Rosie and enjoy good music that has a 'feel good factor' to it.
