Eliza Doolittle's Facebook Page

This page is very similar to how we envisage Rosie's page, as it shows a retro feel with an urban twist. We can see this in the black and white profile picture with Eliza sitting at her old fashioned car. This could connote how she is timeless, and has a sense of nostalgia to her music, with the 'girl next door' image that everyone can relate too. We also see the font and colour of font is very feminine and girly, however bold. This could represent her as a strong and powerful individual and the photo of her is very simplistic showing again that her music isn't fake and over processed. Her bio box is also very different, as it isn't advertising her music, however, it's advertising her personality, making people feel closer to her as a friend then a fan. This is also is evident with the 'Suggest an Edit' link under this box, giving the fans of her an opportunity to help their idol. There is also a link to her 'live' music. This is good as again it focuses on her music and not her image. The font of 'In your hands' is a copy of a special hand writing, so this shows that it is her personal touch, and relating to the message of in your hands, it shows she is sending out a personal piece that makes her audience feel like they know her better. This aspect I would like to be key on Rosie's page, is the fact her fans and target audience will get a personal and intimate relationship through Rosie, enabling them to feel like they can access certain parts of her life that no one else can.

I feel this photo portrays a more personal side to Rosie, as it shows her looking human and a normal teenage girl. This is something we would want to make persistence on her Facebook page, as we want her fans to see her humble and human side, which can certainly be heard in her music.
